Champions!!!

Makoura College ran out 3-0 winners against Waiarapa College Gold, in a class performance that handed them their first Division B title. Co Captain, Tremaine Rimene created the opening goal from the corner spot, before Unlikely hero Nate Heffren finished the job with 2 fantastic goals to fend off the threatning Waicol Gold. It was a game to remember for many students as the team has become quite tight as the season progressed, and it was fantastic for them to finish it off as CHAMPIONS!!!

After accidently missing the prize giving, the boys were finally able to be properly rewarded for their fantastic displays, as they were presented with their winners medals in front of the College. Here we can see the match winner Nate lifting the trophy surrounded by the rest of boys.
